FAQ

What dates should I plan to be in Italy?
Wedding weekend events will take place from Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17th, unless you are immediate family or in our wedding party, in which case we ask that you arrive by Thursday afternoon for our rehearsal dinner. We’d love you there for as long or as little as you can be!
-
Are there accomodations?
We have closed accommodation requests for rooms at Borgo Casabianca. If you are planning to attend and have not received a confirmation email for your room at Borgo Casabianca, we encourage you to book accommodations in the surrounding area. Alternatively, if you would like to join the waitlist for a room at Borgo Casabianca, please email us at atherTEN@gmail.com.
-
What is the nearest airport?
We recommend you fly into either Rome (FCO) or Florence (FIR) for convenience. Our venue is approximately 2.5 hours by car from Rome, or 1.5 hours from Florence. Trains throughout Italy are incredible as well. The nearest train station to our venue is Asciano, and you can get a taxi from there to the venue, about 10 minutes away.
-
Can I bring a +1?
If you were given a +1, your invitation will say so and include a line for your guest. Unfortunately we cannot offer +1s to everyone in order to prioritize having all of our closest friends and family there.
-
Do you have recommendations of where I should travel before or after?
Check out our Italy Guides for some of our favorite places that we’ve traveled in Italy.
-
When do I need to RSVP by?
We request that you RSVP no later than August 15th. If you know that you will not be able to be in attendance before receiving your invite, feel free to email atherten@gmail.com to let us know ahead of time.
-
Do I need to rent a car?
Renting a car is by no means necessary (trains + taxis are easily available), however, the region of Tuscany is rich for exploration, so if you do fancy exploring the surrounding area, a car is not a bad idea.
-
What is the dress code?
The wedding is black tie optional, however, the most important thing to us is that you feel like a million bucks. We encourage you to bring a light jacket for the evenings as it cools down at night, and a change of shoes if need be to help you dance all night.
